ABOUT PHOENIX HAIR AND BEAUTY (EVESHAM) LTD

Hi my name is Tracey Davies (NDH) and I am the Chief Stylist for Phoenix Hair and Beauty.

I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 19 years. My initial training was at Norwich City College where I studied all aspects of hairdressing, manicuring and wig-making and it’s where I obtained my National Diploma of Hairdressing qualification along with a City & Guilds in all the other subjects.

After leaving college in 1989, I worked in the Salon environment for a further 3 years before starting my own mobile hairdressing business.

In 2005 I relocated to Kent with my new partner Richard and following a period as a housewife, decided to return into the mobile hairdressing profession with the added bonus of being a qualified Beautician as well.

I spent time at the Carlton Institute of beauty therapy in Windsor in October 2005, learning and obtaining the CIBT qualifications in Waxing and Nail technology.

In November 2006/07 I attended Canterbury College to update my NVQ 2 qualifications. I became the student of the year completing the 2 year course in only 24 weeks!!

July 2007 we relocated to the Evesham area and in March 2008 we started Phoenix Hair and Beauty (Evesham) Ltd.

This is now a family run business with me as the Manager Director/ Chief Stylist, my husband Richard as my business partner and my father-in-law taking care of the business administration.

In June 2009 I successfully completed NVQ level 3 in Hairdressing at Worcester College of Technology.

Starting in February 2010 I will be attending Birmingham University to study for a 3 year Foundation Degree in Small Salon Business Management.

I strongly believe that being in the mobile profession, regular training is essential due to how quick the industry changes. This is why in addition to academic studies I attend as many short courses as possible allowing Phoenix Hair and Beauty to maintain up to date designs and techniques.

I pride myself on being a very friendly professional person, I have a strict dress code to look and act professional at all times.

We always (when possible) attend Salon/Beauty shows either in the NEC, London or Norfolk, and represent the business with pride and confidence.
